  • Assistant professor at the Gerhard-Kienle-Chair for Medical Theaory, Integrative and Anthroposophic Medicine and at the Institute for Integrative Medicine, UWH
  • Chair of the committee „Integrative Medicine und Pluralism of Perspectives“  of the German Society for Medical Education
  • Member of the team in charge for the international and interprofessional training in „Teach the Teacher in Anthroposophic Medicine“

Diethard Tauschel, born 1970, studied Medicine at the universities in Bochum and Witten/Herdecke. The different perspectives on man, health, illness and cure interested him early in his studies. He engaged in the development of the postgraduate and student training in Traditional Chinese Medicine at WHU. Residency in Neurology.

Since 2004 Diethard Tauschel directs the Integrated Curriculum für Anthroposophic Medicine (ICURAM) at WHU together with Friedrich Edelhäuser und Christian Scheffer. His core areas are teaching anthropology and learning to learn and creating learning environments for students with real patients in clinical and academic contexts.

As assistant professor in the students´ dean office of WHU Diethard Tauschel is occupied with the fields of evaluation und quality management of the clinical education. Publications in medical education and empathy research.
