Kathrin Wode is consulting oncologist at the Regional Cancer Center and Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm. She has over 15 years of clinical experience from both Integrative Medicine and acute and palliative oncology in both inpatient and outpatient care.

She is certified in Anthroposophic Medicine since 2005. Her clinical work during the last years focused mainly on patient-centered care in multiprofessional teams in oncology, surgery and palliative home care.

Kathrin Wode has been nominated twice for Karolinska University Hospital’s award for excellent leadership. Since 2013 she works as an expert for integrative oncology at Regional Cancer Center Stockholm Gotland. Her research is on cancer-related fatigue, patients´ use of CAM and doctors´ and patients´ experience of talking about CAM. She is initiator and coordinating investigator for a planned placebo controlled multicenter trial on a treatment from Integrative Medicine.
