After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002, Dr. Lloyd founded Naturopathic Foundations Health Clinic - a naturopathic-focused clinic in Markham, Ontario. For more than 14 years her practice has focused on the naturopathic and energetic aspects of assessment and treatment and on mind-body medicine.
Dr. Lloyd is currently President of the World Naturopathic Federation (WNF). Prior to that she was President of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) from 2005 until 2008. She has also been the editor of the Vital Link, the journal of the CAND since 2004. She sits on various editorial boards and has written over 50 articles on health related topics for journals such as Energy Currents, International Energy, for the Healthy Living magazine and for Naturopathic Doctor’s News and Review.
Iva Lloyd has authored four books, ‘Building a Successful Naturopathic Practice’, ‘Messages From The Body – a guide to the energetics of health’, 'The Energetics of Health, a naturopathic assessment' and “The History of Naturopathic Medicine, a Canadian perspective'.
In 2012, Dr. Lloyd founded ND Health Facts - a wiki-based website which acts a hub for naturopathic information. She has done various seminars both nationally and internationally that focus on the naturopathic and energetic assessments, energetics of health, mind-body medicine and ageing.
