Integrative Medicine Invites You to Join the Dialogue

International Congress for Integrative Health & Medicine

June 9 -11, 2016 in Stuttgart

Berlin / Stuttgart, December 10, 2015. This summer, a major event will take place for integrative health & medicine in Germany: The International Congress for Integrative Health & Medicine will bring together representatives from global organizations with leading clinicians in integrative health from a variety of professions. To be held at the Stuttgart Congress Center from June 9 to 11, 2016, this milestone event for advancing a coordinated international strategy in integrative health and medicine is not to be missed. This new, global interprofesssional specialist conference has been created to bring experts from practice, policy, research and politics together in professional dialogue.

The International Congress for Integrative Health & Medicine will build bridges between health care practitioners, scientists and policy makers and is designed for all healthcare professionals interested in integrative health and medicine. This dialogue between policy makers, healthcar providers, physicians, and researchers aims at finding useful solutions to pressing problems of health care systems worldwide.

Integrative Medicine: A Key Issue for the Future

Healthcare systems all over the world are facing great challenges: Chronic diseases are increasing and costs are rising accordingly. Many noncommunicable diseases require lifestyle changes that the integrative health global movement has solutions to. The International Congress for Integrative Health & Medicine focuses on these concepts with international experts presenting recent research, best practice models and treatment proposals for chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, cancer or allergies. New perspectives for modern health care, e.g. in the fields of oncology, pediatrics or cardiology, that are closely in line with the public health goals of the World Health Organization (WHO), will be introduced.

The congress is an international co-production of the largest organization for integrative health & medicine in the USA, the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine, and the Dachverband Anthroposophische Medizin in Deutschland (DAMiD), the interprofessional organization for anthroposophic medicine in Germany. Supporting partners are important professional associations from the USA and Europe, including from Germany, the Hufelandgesellschaft, an umbrella organization of physicians’ societies for naturopathy and complementary medicine.

About the Organizers

The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine (AIHM) is the largest organization of Integrative Health & Medicine in the US.
