Dr Dominik Irnich, Head of the Interdisciplinary Pain Centre, Department of Anesthesiology, University of Munich. Vice-president and Head of the Educational Center, German Medical Acupuncture Association (DÄGfA) and in this function responsible for more than 500 fullday courses per year.

Laureat of 11 awards, 75 original medline publications, 100 invited lectures worldwide on Pain Therapy, Acupuncture and Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Implementation of the Munich Outpatient Program in Complementary and Alternative Medicine for chronic pain (MOCAM) in 2001 into the health system, the first academic model for integrative medicine in pain medicine.
